The flip trimmer made it easy for me to reach those difficult to shave areas around my nose.
It was done fast without any irritation and the end result was a smooth and hydrated skin. This was my best wet shaving experience ever. This worked wonders around my nose area as hairs grow rightly underneath my nose. With a flick of the thumb you can pull the gel pools away and reveal only the 5 blades. Can you imagine shaving near your nose or other hard to reach areas to only find the the lubrication strip or in this case the gel pools are in the way of shaving those hard to reach hairs. I must agree that pulling the shaver over my skin was a very easy and smooth experience. The gel pools deliver 40 percent less friction than any other razor brands.
The gel pools are designed to last longer then lubrication strips found on other razors. The first innovation of the Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 are the hydrating gel pools. These five blades come with skin guards, preventing it from getting caught between the blades this reduces irritation. Five blades suits me well as I am a lazy shaver and this job was done quicker than I thought. And I do agree here as previously I was still stuck in pre historic times with my triple blade razor. This should result in faster shaving time. The idea is that with one stroke you get five blade going over your skin instead of one or two. Over the years we have seen more and more blades added to razors and now we have 5 blades.
